What happens during the “Tech Talk” meeting?
During the concept phase, members of our IT and Development teams will meet with your IT team to discuss technical requirements of your project to ensure CTS has all necessary access to build, support, and/or host your website.
- For clients who will transfer hosting from another provider to CTS, please review the Knowledge Transfer Checklist for a list of information CTS would need from the other provider.
- If we will be hosting your website, we'll need admin access to your current domain and hosting, as well as any plugins or 3rd party integrations used, such as Google Analytics. Instructions for granting access can be found in the following articles:
- If we will NOT be hosting your website, we will need to connect with your IT team to discuss a plan to either develop your website on our server or on your server.
- If we will be developing your website on your server, we will require admin access be granted to both our Developer and our Project Manager/Project Coordinator so that our team can test your website in a staging environment set up on your server.
- If you would like to use a new plugin or integration on your website, we will ask you to purchase the plugin or integration and then share the login credentials with the CTS team.
- If you would like to create a Google Analytics account for your website, CTS can help setup the account for you using a client-provided credit card for billing (on autopay).
