Validating Mockup Design Pages (Figma)
Steps for reviewing and approving Mockup page designs during the Design Phase.
- Open the Figma file provided to you by your Project Manager or Project Coordinator.
- To request edits, please add comments directly on the Figma file. Review the mockup pages for layout, sizing, colors, formatting, images, buttons, etc. Most page edits requested should be design related. If you require edits to copy/text on a page (to resolve typos, spelling, or grammar issues), please provide those as well.
- Capture all requested edits into a single round of changes for our team to implement.
- After the requested changes are made to the mockup pages in Figma, your Project Manager or Project Coordinator will share an updated Figma file for you to review and approve. Clients should validate that the round of requested changes were implemented on the Figma File.
- After validation, please provide final approval for each mock-up page so we can move onto the development stage and create prototypes of the mockup pages in a staging environment.
- After the mockup pages are final approved, any change requests for those pages will be treated as additional scope for the project. If you wish to make an edit to a previously approved mockup page, let us know and your Project Manager or Project Coordinator will follow up with you regarding any additional budget and timeline necessary.
